Oxford United’s pre-season plans continue to develop with the announcement of a friendly away at MK Dons.
The game will take place at Stadium MK on Friday 27th July with a 7.45pm kick off.
It’s a chance for Karl Robinson to return to one of his former clubs and he told us:
“Obviously I have a lot of good memories from my time at MK and it will be nice to catch up with one or two people there, but it’s also a really good game for us. It’s the last scheduled game of pre-season and we know it will be a proper competitive game. It’s not too far for the Oxford fans who I am sure will travel in numbers, and then we have a full week to prepare for the first league fixture the following Saturday.”
The game builds on a pre-season schedule that sees United head for Ireland for three games at the start of July and then a double header where they play Oxford City and Hampton and Richhmond Borough on the same day, Saturday 14th.
There are three or four more games pencilled in for pre-season- full details will be announced right here as soon as they are confirmed.
