Karl Robinson starts life as the new Head Coach at the U's with a trip to Portsmouth on Sunday in front of the SKY cameras. United's new boss looks for his side to win back to back games after the 2-1 win over Peterborough United last Saturday.
TEAM NEWS
Robinson will be able to call on top scorer Wes Thomas despite the striker limping off in last weekend's win. Thomas was caught in a challenge but has trained all week and is available for selection against his former club, with Jon Obika also likely to be available. The forward is due to train today after also hobbling off last week.
Robinson is without Gino van Kessel, Canice Carroll and Isaac Buckley-Ricketts due to their international commitments, with Shandon Baptiste also away with Grenada. However Agon Mehmeti netted four times in a Development game this week and should return to the bench where Ivo Pekalski could appear for the first time
iFollow has Karl's thoughts on the game plus an interview with James Henry AND the return of the dreaded Preview Show, where Wes Thomas, Ryan Ledson, Alex Mowatt and Niall McWilliams all feature in amongst the chaos.
