Oxford United defender Fiacre Kelleher is to join Macclesfield Town on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old centre-half joined the U's from Celtic last summer and spent the season on loan at Solihull Moors.
Having returned to the U's and reported for pre-season training this week the central defender will join the newly promoted Silkmen as they return to the Football League.
Manager Karl Robinson told us:
"With Curtis Nelson, John Mousinho, Charlie Raglan and Rob Dickie in the squad we are well covered in that position so Fiacre is maybe a little bit unlucky because he did well at Solihull last season and continues to develop all the time.
"It's a good move for all concerned because Macclesfield are a good club, with a good Manager, fresh from promotion and hopefully he gets to play regular League football while we continue to monitor his progress."
