Defender Sam Long has joined Hampton and Richmond Borough on a month’s loan.
Sam, who turned 23 this week, is now fully fit after an injury affected season and joins Hampton looking to get match sharpness. He links up with Manny Agboola and Shandon Baptiste who are already at the National League South club.
His loan comes on the same day that keeper Jack Stevens joined Tamworth on a similar loan deal
Jack was recalled from a similar loan spell at Oxford City to act as cover when Simon Eastwood suffered a shoulder injury but with United's number one fit again and Scott Shearer as back up Jack joins the Lambs to continue to give him competitive first team football.
He goes in to the Lambs' squad for their National League North game at Boston tomorrow.
