OUFC Live Bristol Rovers

Sam Long comes in to the starting eleven as Oxford United welcome Bristol Rovers this afternoon.

The ever-dependable right-back comes in for Jamie Hanson, who suffered a dead leg against Southend United on Boxing Day.

The only other changes come on the bench, where Cameron Norman replaces Tony McMahon and teenage strikers Fabio Lopes and Slavi Spasov get their chance. Karl Robinson told us:

"With Reading having a new Manager, we thought it was fair to give Sam Smith the chance to go back slightly early and try and impress there, and Tony McMahon is on the verge of a move, either loan or permanent, to be closer to his family.

"Both Fabio and Slavi have done really well in the under 18s recently, so they deserve their chance to be involved, and Sam gets his chance because he has one of the biggest hearts I know and will come in and give it absolutely everythng."
