Oxford United head for Doncaster Rovers on Saturday looking to start the Christmas games with a win.
TEAM NEWS
United boss Karl Robinson must decide whether to revert to the same team that had played in five successive games or whether to include some of the players who impressed during the 3-0 Checkatrade Trophy win over Spurs U21s on Tuesday night.
Tony McMahon, Luke Garbutt, Charlie Raglan, Sam Smith and Armani Little all came into the side and did well but John Mousinho, Curtis Nelson, Jamie Mackie, Josh Ruffels and Marcus Browne have all been key figures during United's run of one defeat in 15 games and would usually be expected to come back into the side.

THE OPPOSITION
Rovers boss Grant McCann reckons it will be an entertaining game as two of the form teams in the division meet.
“It's going to be a good game on Saturday I think,” he told the Doncaster Free Press. “They are similar to us. If you look at their front five, in comparison with us, they've got pace, creativity, goals. They've got someone who works very hard up front like John (Marquis) in Jamie Mackie but John is scoring more goals. They started slowly but sometimes it takes time to gel a team but I think they've got their mojo back.
“I think it's going to be a game of transitions, whoever is good at that and whoever is good going forward, whoever takes their chances. There's going to be a lot of chances at both ends and we've got to make sure we defend it well.”
