With the first home game of the season almost here it is worth reminding fans of a few simple rules which will help everyone make the most of Saturday’s game against Fleetwood as well as every match that follows.
There are one or two changes that you will see around the ground, including
Supporter Liaison Officers
A team of volunteers has been recruited to help with any questions from fans around the ground. They will be easy to spot in their SLO tops and will be able to assist with everything from directions to where to eat and drink before the game.
Ox-Rails
This will be the first game where the new safety rail in Block 19 of the East Stand has been in place as a safety measure for those who persistently stand. It is in the back row of that block and only those with tickets in that row will be allowed into that row- there are 25 seats, so 25 people. Please do not stand on the rail or seat young children on it
Are you bringing the Family?
Then visit the Family Area in the corner of the North Stand. Open to home and away fans there are arts, crafts, player visits and much more to enjoy between 1.30 and kick off. Look out for a special free poster where you can fill in the whole season. The Family Area is free and open to all junior fans
Smoking
The Kassam Stadium is a no smoking ground and there is no smoking or vaping inside the seated area. Those who want to smoke at half time can do so in a special area behind the East Stand at half time
Discrimination
Oxford United is a Family Club and will not tolerate homophobia, racism, sexism or any other form of discrimination. We recognise that sometimes it is hard to report this directly but you can text a dedicated hotline to report any unacceptable behaviour and the safety team will deal with it for you. Just text 07342 272 742 with the stand, block and seat number and a brief description.
Flags
Large flags can be waved before and after games, at half time and to celebrate goals. Pyro and smoke devices are strictly prohibited.
Car Parking
The Stewarding team is on hand to help you park safely, with the car parks open from _____. A message will appear on @OUFCOfficial when the car parks at the ground are full. If parking outside the official car parks then please do so legally to avoid parking fines
