Oldham Manager Richie Wellens will send his team out looking for a win when they take on Oxford United this weekend.
“Karl Robinson has got a way of playing where they keep the ball and keep possession" he told the official Oldham website.
“He is very highly respected at this level and has won promotion with MK Dons and done well with Charlton Athletic so he’s been at good clubs. He has had his head turned by Oxford and he thinks he can develop that club. I’m sure in the future he will do a good job but we just want to get something from the game.
“If we do get three points then it will go a long way to where we want to be. He is a good manager, it’s a good club but we will try and get three points.”
A win over Blackpool on Monday lifted Wellens' side out of the relegation places with striker Eoin Doyle netting his 14th of the season.
“We could have scored three or four in the first half by myself but I didn’t manage to nick one and then we kept going and ground it out. "Doyle said.
“It’s a big win and results went our way as well so hopefully we can kick on now. There are a lot of games in a short space of time for us so the recovery will be important but we will be right going into Oxford,” he said.
“If we get three points there then it would be a massive win for us.”
