Peterborough have been flying high this season but suffered a surprise 3-2 defeat at improving Oldham in midweek and boss Grant McCann is looking for his team to bounce back against the U's.
“I know they’re a good footballing team. I know they’ve got some really good individuals – Mowatt, Payne, Ledson." he said.
“We don’t need to over-think it, we need to make sure we’re focused firmly on us, because when we’re on our game we’re a match for anyone in this league.
“When we’re not we can get beaten by anyone.
“So we need to make sure our standards are good and we go into the game feeling good about ourselves, but also wanting to improve.”
Peterborough will be without striker Junior Morias with a ruptured thigh that will keep him out until the new year.
There is a familiar face in the dug out in former United striker and coach David Oldfield, now lending his experience at the Posh.
