Oxford United’s young midfielder Shandon Baptiste has been called up for the Grenada national team.
The 19-year-old is a first year pro with the U’s after stepping up from the youth team in the summer and made his first senior appearance in this season’s Checkatrade Trophy game at Stevenage. He was also on the bench for Tuesday's game against Brighton and Hove Albion under 21s.
Shandon has been called up by Grenada for a friendly at home against Panama on October 24.
Our congratulations to Shandon.
