Up for the Cups

It’s a huge week for the U’s with four different competitions to play for.

Thursday night sees two big games.

The Women welcome Man City to Court Place Farm in the Continental Cup. Andy Cook’s in-form team take on a City side packed full with internationals in a game that the Manager calls ‘David and Goliath’.
On the same night United’s under 18s head for Tuffley Rovers where they will take on Gloucester City in the first round of the FA Youth Cup. (7.30pm).

24 hours later Pep Clotet’s first team head for Vale Park to take on Port Vale in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup. Can the U’s make progress against fast-improving Vale? Could there be a double Oxford involvement in the next round: City, with Jack Stevens in goal, head for Colchester United on Saturday in the same competition…

Then next Tuesday the U’s are at home in the final group game of the Checkatrade Trophy where they welcome MK Dons to Grenoble Road. Prices are reduced in all areas for this game as United look to make it three Wembley finals in a row.

iFollow has all the pre match build up to all the games: log on now and see exclusive videos with Pep Clotet and Joe Rothwell previewing the game at Port Vale, Andy Cook and Lauren Haynes looking ahead to the Man City game, Leon Blackmore Such talking about the FA Youth Cup, and Jack Stevens talking about his hopes at Colchester against the other U’s.
