Oxford United striker James Roberts has joined Guiseley on a month's loan
James, 21, has made three appearances from the bench for the U's this season but Manager Pep Clotet was keen to give him competitive first team action on a more regular basis.
The move to National League side Guiseley, where former United midfielder Adam Murray is assistant manager, should give James that chance and he is likely to be involved for the first time tomorrow when the Lions play away at Gateshead.
