United look to get back to winning ways against high flying Bradford
There is plenty going on this Saturday as Oxford United welcome Bradford City in Sky Bet League 1.
Michael Appleton’s United side lost their unbeaten home record on Sunday as they were beaten by AFC Wimbledon but will be looking for a positive reaction when they take on the unbeaten Bantams.
Only three clubs in the top five divisions are unbeaten so far - Bradford, Spurs and Carlisle.
“We get the chance to be the first team to beat them, and we will certainly looking to out in a better performance than we did on Sunday.” Michael Appleton told Yellow Player HD
Saturday sees a trial of a new bus service from Brookes University (click HERE for timetables) which we hope will bring more students to matches and strengthen our connection with Brookes.
We are also delighted to have Manor Legend Colin Booth as our Guest of Honour. Colin held the scoring record for a season until Steve Biggins and John Aldridge came along, and United’s former centre-forward will be here as our very special guest.
It promises to be another fantastic afternoon of football so join us and get behind the U’s. Tickets are available right now from www.oufctickets.co.uk and 01865 337533
