Toys and Gifts needed for the U's' Hospital Visit
It’s coming round to that time of year again when the Oxford United first team squad head for the Oxford Children’s Hospital for our Christmas visit.
This year the U’s will be popping along to meet the children and staff on the wards on Thursday December 15th and so we are launching our annual appeal for gifts and presents for the children.
The players and staff will be buying games and DVDs, and to make Christmas extra special we would love fans to drop in and donate games, toys and gifts; it doesn’t matter how many or how expensive they are, we welcome anything you think could lift the spirits of children on the hospital wards at Christmas.
It could be colouring books, pens, games or toys. All we ask is that you don’t wrap the presents (so we can make sure they go to the right age group) and no food or drink please.
There are three home games to go:
Coventry City Saturday 19th November
Gillingham Tuesday 22nd November
Oldham Athletic Saturday 10th December
Bring your gifts and donations along to reception on match day and we will store them until the big day. Alternatively you can bring them to the Ticket Office windows throughout the week.
Help us make a difference this Christmas.
