U's get ready for Saturday's big match
Oxford United reported a clean bill of health as they trained today ahead of Saturday’s big game against Wycombe Wanderers.
Defender Joe Skarz trained after a groin problem, while Johnny Mullins and Kemar Roofe both came through a full session at the Kassam Stadium after missing the win at Carlisle with ankle problems.
John Lundstram was another to come through the session after a recent injury and Head Coach Michael Appleton told Yellow Player HD that his squad is just about fully fit for Saturday’s match:
“There’s only Ryan Taylor and Jordan Evans missing, and both of them are back running and doing well, but won’t be involved. There are still two days of training before the match so we will monitor things and hopefully everyone is available come Saturday.
“Obviously everyone wants to play in such a big game. It’s another sold-out crowd and there is going to be a fantastic atmosphere so it’s one we are all looking forward to.”
