New Director joins the Board at the U's
Oxford United are pleased to announce that Steve Dolton has joined the Board as a non executive director.Steve, 52, is an experienced finance director who is currently Chief Financial Officer of NAHL plc and has held a number of senior finance positions both in the UK and overseas.
Having grown up in Oxford he played local football for North Leigh and later became a level 3 FA referee. He is currently an associate director of the club.
Steve said
“I have been an Oxford United fan ever since my first game in 1968 and I am very pleased to be asked to join the Board.
“I hope to be able to use my finance experience to add value to the Board and support Darryl and the rest of the team in delivering their ambitious plans for the club”.
United Chairman Darryl Eales welcomed Steve, saying:
"I am delighted Steve has agreed to join the Board. His commercial experience and general business knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to build the club sustainably. We also have the added benefit of Steve's passion and insight as a lifelong supporter."
At the same time the club can confirm that Frank Waterhouse has stepped down as a director.
