Season Tickets Available Online All Weekend

Appleton thanks fans as Yellow Army backs United

Season Tickets continue to sell well as Oxford United fans get behind Michael Appleton and his team for their first season in the new EFL League 1.

The Football League was rebranded this week as the English Football League and the U’s will find out their fixtures in just two weeks now when the fixtures are released on Wednesday 22nd June.

Over 2,300 season tickets have been sold already, with 700 of them new season ticket holders and well over 200 snapping up the OX4Life deal which gives under 13s a season ticket plus a home shirt for just £60.

Head Coach Michael Appleton has spent this week talking to new players and told www.oufc.co.uk what a difference the fantastic support from the U’s fans makes:

“It’s great news, particularly the number of new season tickets we have sold. The way the fans got behind us last year was a major factor in our promotion, and the cup success we enjoyed, and it looks as though there are going to be plenty of big crowds again next season.

“It’s not just the atmosphere they create. Obviously season tickets are the lifeblood of any club and financially it’s important to be able to plan ahead and know that the fans will be here in big numbers again.”

The ticket office at the Kassam Stadium is closed over the weekend but the online ticket office at www.oufctickets.co.uk is open 24/7 and offers the easiest way to book your place for the new season.

Season Ticket Holders are reminded that they have until July 1st to buy their existing seat.
