First day of sale goes well as new look shop opens
The new Oxford United Club Shop was open for business today and selling the brand new home kit for the start of a new era.
The shop, located next to Gala Bingo at the Kassam Stadium has been completely refitted over the summer and has a fantastic range of new training and leisure wear with new stock being added every day. Chairman Darryl Eales was on hand at 9am to cut the ribbon and officially open the new look shop.
Pride of place is the new home kit which continues the retro theme from last season’s highly successful home shirts. The new home shirt features a yellow body with blue pinstripes along with blue sleeves. Sponsors Liontrust are on the front with Polythene UK on the reverse. There is a v-neck collar and the official new crest of a simple Ox head,
The kit is completed by navy blue shorts and navy socks.

Director Peter Lee said
“The improvements to our club shop and web shop have taken several months to plan and implement. New stock will continue to arrive between now and Christmas and hopefully satisfy the demand for a wider range of merchandise'
“We sincerely hope all our fan base continue to see the improvements we are striving to make.”
