Midfielder Kat looks ahead to the new season
Oxford United Women have further strengthened their squad ahead of the new season with midfielder Kat Nutman agreeing a new one year deal with the U’s.
Kat, 23, has represented England at U15 and U17 and came to Oxford in 2013 to combine playing with studying at Oxford University. She has been a fixture in the centre of the park for Les Taylor’s side ever since and Les told us
“Kat has been a virtual ever-present in the starting line up for the past two seasons. She is consistent and reliable and a valuable member of the team. I am delighted that Kat has signed on the dotted line.”
Kat was equally delighted to sign her new deal
"I'm very happy to have committed to another season, and excited to help build a solid foundation for the future of the football club."
The Women are currently back in pre-season training, with their WSL2 season kicking off in March.
Before the league season kicks off they will travel to Brighton & Hove Albion in the third round of the SSE Women's FA Cup on Sunday, February 7th.
