Help raise money for the Oxford United Community Trust
The Oxford United Community Trust has been announced as the local lead charity for the Vitality Oxford Half Marathon.
The Oxford United Community Trust is a charity that aims to support everyone in Oxfordshire to be the best possible version of themselves by using the power and influence of sport to engage people in activities that help both individuals and the local community.
The Trust delivers activities in line with their four key themes of Sports Participation and Coaching; Education Training and Employment; Health and Wellbeing and Social Inclusion to increase aspirations and ambition and support everyone to achieve their dreams.
The Trust is an official partner of the Vitality Oxford Half Marathon which takes place on Sunday 9th October. Join us for 13.1 miles through the historic city of Oxford. There is a brand new route this year that takes in some of Oxford’s most recognisable and most beautiful sights.
Chairman Darryl Eales is urging fans and their friends alike to get on their walking/running shoes to help the Community Trust.
“For me, the Trust and our community give the club a greater sense of purpose and puts football into a wider perspective.
“This is a huge opportunity to raise funds for the Trust and help our communities and we’re asking as many people as possible to run, jog or walk in aid of The Community Trust.”
Who knows, you might find yourself running alongside some familiar faces from Oxford United…
