Youth Team Take On Pompey

United's under-18s at home to Portsmouth for second time in a week

Haven't got a ticket for Northampton? You can still get your United fix for the weekend.

For the second time in a week, United's youth team take on Portsmouth at Abingdon United's Northcourt Road on Saturday (11am kick off).

On Tuesday, the under-18s played Pompey in the Youth Alliance Cup first round. After Graham Bryan's goal had earned a 1-1 draw, United then won the penalty shoot-out 4-3 to progress to the second round to face Cheltenham.

On Saturday morning, Portsmouth return to the Northcourt for a Youth Alliance South West league fixture. Pompey are top of the table and unbeaten in the league this season, so Oxford will be out to prove that Tuesday's result was no fluke. With Jack Stevens and Jordan Graham available for selection following their development squad call up, the youth team will be back to full strength.

Why not go along to support the boys? Admission is free and there is always a friendly welcome and excellent facilities at Northcourt Road, OX14 1PL.
