Graham wings in to the U's
Oxford United have completed the signing of Jordan Graham on an initial month’s loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Graham, 20, is an exciting young winger who began his career at Aston Villa, spending time at Ipswich Town and Bradford City on loan before turning a loan at Wolves into a permanent deal in January. Having played for the Republic of Ireland at under 15 he then played for England at under 16 and under 17 levels during his time at Villa.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said
“He is a very talented player who I have known for a while. He played in the same age level as Kemar Roofe and always caught the eye. We have been monitoring his progress for the last few months, including a recent under 21 game where he was outstanding. We have a lot of games coming up, five in fifteen days, and I feel that Jordan can freshen things up, be a threat going forwards, and hopefully make a real impact for us.”
Jordan told us:
“I can’t wait to get started. I have been made to feel very welcome and the side has done well so far this season so it feels like a very positive club to come to. League 2 is very tight this season and the games are always very competitive so I am really looking forward to the experience.”
