Young midfielder joins Conference North side on loan
Oxford United midfielder Josh Ashby is to join AFC Telford United on loan for a month.
Josh, 19, made two first team starts for the U’s last season but has found his opportunities limited this season with Liam Sercombe, Danny Rose, John Lundstram and Josh Ruffels also in contention in the middle of the park.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“Josh is very much one for the future and going out to play regular competitive football is an important step in his progression.”
He joins Telford ahead of their National League North fixture at Fylde this Saturday.
