Winger's loan cut short due to injuries at Molineux
Oxford United can confirm that winger Jordan Graham has been recalled from his loan by parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Jordan, 20, made six appearances during his loan at the Kassam Stadium, but Wolves have requested that he return to Molineux due to injuries, with Jordan expected to go straight into the squad to play at Birmingham on Saturday.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“It’s a shame because he has done really well for us and was enjoying being part of the squad, but Wolves had a recall option in the loan and have a number of first team players out so it is a wonderful opportunity for him. We wish him well and will certainly keep an eye on his progress.
“We are fortunate to have a number of options in the wide positions and we will look at all of those in the next few days as we prepare for the trip to Stevenage on Saturday.”
