Get your skates on for a great double header
There’s a great offer available for Oxford United fans this weekend who get the chance to see United AND the Oxford City Stars ice hockey team in action.
This Saturday Oxford City Stars face off against Invicta Dynamos at 7:30pm at the Oxford Ice Rink.
Ahead of Oxfordshire United weekend in January (details coming soon), the Stars are offering half price entry to OUFC ticket holders and season ticket holders after Saturday’s game against Cambridge. In addition, under 16s can enjoy watching the Stars for just £1.
All you have to do is show your ticket stub or season ticket card on the door.
The Stars are currently flying in the National Ice Hockey League Division One and sit fourth in the league after last weekend’s 4-2 home victory.
Face off is 7:30pm and fans are advised to arrive early. There is a bar on site serving soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and hot food. The Stars play at Oxford City Ice Rink, Oxpens Road, OX1 1RQ.
Sarah Gooding, Supporter Services Manager at Oxford United said
“It’s great for the club to be involved with the Stars again. A number of players went along and watched them last season and had a great time, and this is a fantastic way for supporters to enjoy the two sports on the same day.”
