Military Day reading from the U's
We welcome Cambridge United to the Kassam Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick off), which is also Oxford United's annual Military Day and in honour of the occasion we have produced another special memento of the game for your enjoyment.The military theme starts with the front cover, where Jake Wright and Ryan Taylor feature, alongside members of the armed forces. Inside we feature a project that the club is involved in, along with the Oxford Academy, looking at the relationship between football, the military and society and there's a special article that discusses United at war.
Chairman Darryl Eales talks about his special guests, including senior members of the armed forces, while Michael Appleton and Jake Wright also pay tribute to the military. In addition, we have interviews with Benji Buchel, Cameron Gayle and Robbie Cundy, as well as guest of honour Andy Woodman.
Our On the Road series continues with that special trip to Stevenage and the match action includes United's win over Plymouth.
