Forward to stay at the Kassam Stadium until May
Oxford United are pleased to announce that Kemar Roofe’s loan from West Bromwich Albion has been extended to the end of the season.Kemar was excellent on his full debut at Bury last week having impressed as a sub in previous games and with the loan due to end after Saturday’s home game against Plymouth the two clubs have now agreed that Kemar can be with the U’s for a longer period.
“It’s good to have it sorted out nice and early” he told us. “I have really enjoyed my time here. I have been made to feel very welcome, there is a positive outlook throughout the club and I am enjoying my football.”
Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“I worked with Kemar when he was a youngster at West Brom and have always known he has talent. He has now added a real maturity to that and he has done well for us. I think there is more to come from him and it is good to be able to work with him over a longer period.”
