Get behind the U's against Plymouth and Hartlepool
Oxford United face two important home games in a row as they look to build on an encouraging four-match unbeaten run.The U’s were 1-0 winners at Bury last time out and this Saturday can complete a second double of the season when they welcome Plymouth Argyle to the Kassam Stadium. United were 2-1 winners at Home Park in December thanks to goals from John Campbell and James Roberts, and Roberts will be hoping for a chance to impress up front with top scorer Danny Hylton missing the game through suspension.
“They are all big games at the moment,” said Head Coach Michael Appleton. “Plymouth have gone on a fantastic run and it’s not going to be easy but we are in good form ourselves and it should make for a great game of football.”
The U’s then take on Hartlepool United at the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) with the visitors fighting hard to escape the relegation places. Ronnie Moore’s side pushed league leaders Burton Albion all the way on Saturday before the Brewers snatched an injury-time goal to win 1-0. Moore’s first game in charge was a 1-1 draw with the U’s in December and with games running out it’s a massive fixture for both sides.
