United players return for start of pre-season
The Oxford United squad assembled today for the first time ahead of the 2015/16 season to receive their new training kit and meet their new team mates.There was a great atmosphere and excellent weather at the Roman Way training ground this morning as the players tried on their new-look black kit, complete with the new ox-head badge, which received a very positive reception from the players.
"Everyone's chomping at the bit to get started," head coach Michael Appleton told us. "They're excited; they've had a chance to unwind and get over what was a long season and they're all raring to go." You can hear the full interview right now in Yellow Player.
