Keeper leaves by mutual consent
Goalkeeper Ryan Clarke has today left Oxford United by mutual consent.
Ryan, 33, has been with the U’s since the summer of 2009, making 267 appearances. The former Bristol Rovers and Salisbury keeper was between the sticks for the 2010 play-off victory over York City at Wembley and has been an excellent servant to the U’s as Head Coach Michael Appleton said:
“Ryan has done great for the club but we feel the time is right for everyone to make a change. We would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”
