New Community Director Role and Community Programme

A Fantastic Opportunity at Oxford United

Oxford United firmly believe that the club has a responsibility to work with its local community – and the local community means the whole of Oxfordshire. Since the new board and management team took charge last summer the club has made significant progress off the pitch, but now the aim is to take things to a new level. Oxford United are looking to recruit a Community Director to spearhead this development. This person will work closely with the club’s CEO and Trustee Mark Ashton to deliver one of the most progressive and comprehensive community engagement programmes in the country.

The new Community Trust programme will leave no stone unturned. It will establish a number of key areas of focus, including core coaching programmes, education, social inclusion and health, giving the club a presence right across the county. The aim is for the new Community Director role to be one of the most exciting jobs in English sport – engaging with all sectors of the community including the club’s next generation of supporters will be part of the exciting challenge for the right person.

If you are interested in applying for the Community Director role contact CEO Mark Ashton for further information and a detailed job description via ceo@oufc.co.uk. The deadline for applications is Monday January 19th 2015
