Irish striker completes formalities while Dunkley's loan becomes permanent
There was further good news for the U’s this week with Patrick Hoban receiving international clearance in the week that he resumed training. The Irish striker completed the formalities of signing for the U’s from Dundalk and the paperwork has now come through to make him eligible to play. Hoban injured his ankle in his first training session at Oxford back in November but has worked hard to regain fitness and joined training again on Monday and Tuesday. He is likely to play his first game for the club in a development side game early next week.
This news follows on from fellow striker Will Hoskins playing 65 minutes yesterday, scoring in a 4-0 friendly win for the development side at Barnet. Hoskins had been out of action since September but has been training for a couple of weeks and could be involved with the first team squad for the first time this weekend when they travel to Dagenham and Redbridge.
One further formality has also been completed to turn Chey Dunkley’s loan from Kidderminster Harriers into a permanent deal.
