TEAM NEWS
Oxford United will look to build on a memorable Capital One Cup win at Brentford when they travel to Luton Town in Sky Bet League 2 on Saturday.

The U's earned a trip to Sheffield Wednesday for their demolition of the Bees and are hoping that Kemar Roofe will be fit to continue after being taken off on Tuesday as a precaution after a tight groin. The winger is due to train with the team today and if he suffers no after-effects then Head Coach Michael Appleton is likely to name an unchanged side for the third game in a row,.

New signing John Lundstram joined in training yesterday for the first time but is unlikely to feature as he gains full fitness.

See Michael Appleton, Sam Slocombe and John Lundstram give their thoughts ahead of the game in Yellow Player HD where we also have the whole game LIVE.

THE OPPOSITION
Luton were also upsetting higher league opposition in midweek, beating Bristol City to set up a tie against Stoke City in the next round. Hatters boss John Still has Craig Mackail Smith available after joining in the summer but he it was young striker Jack Marriott who scored twice in the 3-1 win over Bristol and the former Ipswich trainee could keep Mackail-Smith and experienced Paul Benson on the bench on Saturday.

“With the greatest respect to Craig or Paul, it’s who’s plays best" said boss John Still. “When they’re here, age, reputation, experience, only counts if you are as good as someone else although that will change throughout the season.
