United in Business hits the Web
Oxford United are delighted to announce the launch of a new website for our innovative business club, United in Business.
The website will allow current United in Business members the opportunity to showcase their business as well as giving U’s fans discounted offers with our members. The website is a big step for the business club that recently reached 50 members, 50 days after being launched.
The website was created by United in Business members and U’s fans Twenty3 Design and will also show Oxford United business focused stories, in depth member focus on each United in Business member and news on upcoming United in Business events.
The Oxford United commercial team were heavily involved in the development of the website and Commercial Director Tony Davison is pleased Oxford United can now offer an interactive destination. Tony stated “United in Business has evolved dramatically and we wanted a website that would show off each business and provide a catalyst to do business. We encourage our fans to bookmark the site so they can take advantage of our member’s offerings as they are released and support the companies which support the club”.
United in Business members have praised the site with Paul Walls of A-Plan Insurance stating he appreciated being able to offer a discounted service to U’s fans. “We were keen to offer the loyal Oxford United fans a number of offerings and the new website gives us the tool to do that”.
United in Business, in association with Isinglass Consulting, sees businesses paying a membership fee which goes to United’s Community Trust, and in return the club provides a host of benefits including unique events, advertising and personal introductions to other businesses. Paul Charles of Isinglass Consulting also praised the website and the development of United in Business stating “United in Business creates a fantastic opportunity for businesses to come together and do business in a unique, fun and relaxed environment whilst supporting Oxford United and its community aims.”
