Help us Help the Children's Hospital

Presents needed for Hospital visit

The Oxford United first team squad will be visiting the Oxford Children’s Hospital on Tuesday 16th December and we are asking supporters to once again help us spread a little festive cheer.

The players will be visiting the wards to meet hospital staff and patients, some of whom may well be in hospital at Christmas. We are asking fans to bring in toys and presents for us to give to the children.

Peter Rhoades-Brown explained:

“The players and the club will have a collection and buy games, DVDs and a few presents for the kids but for the last few years the supporters have been fantastic and helped us make it even more special by bringing in even more presents.

“There are three home games for them to do that - against Wimbledon, Tranmere  and Bury - and the more gifts we can take along the more smiles we raise among the children.”

Can you help? We are looking for new toys, games, art sets, colouring books and puzzles . They can be for any age- please don’t wrap them so we can give the right present to the right person!

Please bring them in to club reception ahead of the Wimbledon game on 22nd November, or at the Tranmere or Bury matches

It doesn’t matter if it is one toy or a sack full - everything you donate will help a child at Christmas.
