United in Business 6-a-side Tournament

We are pleased to announce our first ever corporate ‘United in Business’ 6-a-side tournament will be commencing on Thursday 19th June at Oxford Brookes Sport, Headington. 

The tournament will see large and small businesses around Oxfordshire come together for an afternoon of 6-a-side football, followed by an evening of watching England vs Uruguay at the Kassam Stadium on the big screen. Current businesses who will be joining us include Nielsen, First Touch Games, Unipart, Ignite Sport, Henmans Freeth LLP, Provenance Wines, British Gas, Chiltern Railways, Withy King LLP, Amey, STL Communications, BT iNet, Critchleys, Motors.co.uk, Rebellion Games, SEGA & Sports Interactive, M Group, Oxford Brookes University, Holiday Lettings and Miele

The tournament is an opportunity for businesses to build staff morale and retention and go head to head with local rival businesses on the pitch.

Oxford United Legends will also be entering a team captained by Peter Rhoades-Brown. Shuttle buses provided by Tappins will be running from the Kassam Stadium from 2pm up to Oxford Brookes Sport AstroTurf for an afternoon of 6 a side football where we will see who will become the Oxford United in Business 6 a side champions. 

The football will begin at 3pm with a group stage, semi-finals and final. Winners will receive a 10 person executive box for an Oxford United home game, a page advert for the winning business in the match day programme and the prestigious Oxford United in Business champions trophy. After the football shuttles will run back to the Kassam Stadium for the England vs Uruguay match on the big screen and hot food will be included for all teams. 

Team entry is £200 and non-players are welcome to watch the England match at £10 including food.
