U's prepare to travel across town to take on rivals City
United look to build on a promising first outing at Farnborough as they travel to Oxford City on Tuesday night for their second game of pre-season (7.45pm).
The U’s gave several of their promising youngsters a chance on Saturday with James Roberts and Josh Ashby grabbing the goals in a 2-1 win and Head Coach Michael Appleton is likely to name a similar squad for the game at Court Place Farm.
Danny Hylton, Josh Ruffels, Jon Meades, David Hunt and Callum O’Dowda were not risked on Saturday but will be in contention for either the City game or the trip to Didcot on Saturday while Appleton is hoping to have at least one new face available tomorrow.
Oxford City have arranged for extra parking for this game in the field opposite Court Place Farm and admission is as for their home league games: Adults: £10.00 Concessions: £5.00 U16s FREE
