Michael Appleton prepares for his first game in charge of The U's
New head Coach Michael Appleton will take charge of Oxford United for the first time as they travel to Farnborough for their first pre-season game this Saturday (2pm kick off)
Michael will take a full first team squad and look to give as many players an opportunity as possible as he runs the rule over the existing team.
“It will be good to get playing” he told Yellow Player earlier today. “They have worked very hard this week for me and I have been pleased with what I have seen. Obviously we would like to add to the squad over pre-season but they are all looking to impress and be part of the starting line-up when we take on Burton on the opening day.”
Saturday’s game takes place at Paddy Power Park, The Rushmoor Community Stadium,Cherrywood Road, Farnborough, Hampshire GU14 8UD and admission is Adults £10, Concessions (over 60s, disabled supporters, Registered unemployed, students and Military ) £8, U16’s £3
