Yellow Army ready to raise the roof as Oxford United welcome Mansfield Town in Sky Bet League 2

The Yellow Army and Oxford United have teamed up to raise the noise this Saturday. 

United take on Mansfield Town at home in another big Sky Bet League 2 fixture and the club and Yellow Army have joined forces to back the team. 

To launch the rallying call for United fans to pull together for the important match the Yellow Army and Oxford United today announced they will use #NoisyOxford on Twitter in the big build up to Saturday. 

U's fans are being encouraged to make as much noise as possible in every section of the stadium throughout the match to cheer on United and create a special atmosphere. 

James Constable said: "The Yellow Army have been superb in backing us up and down the country in great numbers this season and always give us a lift. 

"We're determined to keep working hard and put in performances that we hope do the fans proud. The Yellow Army are always loud and the backing we had at Bristol really was first class. The #NoisyOxford campaign is fantastic and will give the boys a boost."

The #NoisyOxford campaign forms part of the Yellow Army's goal to improve the match-day experience and atmosphere this season, by adding more colour and noise. Every United fan is part of the Yellow Army.

You can play your part by backing the team on Twitter using the hashtag #NoisyOxford, by cheering the team on throughout the match on Saturday, or listening via the radio or Yellow Player. 

"The Yellow Army On Tour day at Mansfield away was superb - so it would be fantastic to give the team the same backing for the home game," said Greig Box Turnbull, of the Yellow Army. 

"It's what the Yellow Army and Oxford United is all about, sticking together and striving to progress. We're entering a vital stage of the season now and as fans the best thing we can do is back the team to the hilt."

Joe Nicholls added: "The team are in a great position in the table, so it's important we all pull together and keep going.

"The more fans that can attend on Saturday and shout, clap, sing and cheer them on the better. Let's all get behind this and use #NoisyOxford on Twitter and together we can all make a difference and give the team a lift.

"Let's band together and make Saturday a match to remember, you can back the team by bringing a scarf or flag and singing, shouting, clapping and cheering for 90 minutes. 

"This is about every fan in every part of the stadium, from the East Stand and North Stand and throughout the South Stand - let's make some noise."
