We look ahead to Sunday at Home Park

TEAM NEWS
United will wait to see the extent of Joe Riley's hamstring injury before naming the side at Plymouth on Sunday. Riley felt the muscle tighten during the Boxing Day game against Shrewsbury and went off as a precaution, with United switching to an unusual three man defence. Jon Meades, a natural replacement should Riley not make it, also went off in the same game after a blow to the face but should be available, while both Johnny Mullins and Andy Whing can play right back if required.
James Roberts made a cameo return against Shrewsbury after injury and could be available for a longer appearance.
THE OPPOSITION
Plymouth, like the U's, lost 2-0 on Boxing Day, slipping to defeat at Newport County.
“It was difficult conditions for both sets of players,” Manager John Sheridan said. “We needed to score, and we needed to get ourselves back in the game. It was just a bit too slow. We kept possession of the ball, but we did not really hurt them.”
“I think we penetrated without hurting them too much, and I thought we just overplayed it a little too much at times,” he said. "I think we just overplayed at times, instead of playing off the front, especially when we are 1-0 down. Play off the front a little earlier, get up there and support them earlier. "
Former United duo Luke McCormick and Lee Cox are important parts of the Argyle side although striker Deane Smalley misses out through a long-term injury which will keep him out all season.
