Alfie Set for Easter Games

Injury update as Oxford United prepare to welcome York City

United take on York City on Good Friday with both clubs going for the play-off places.

United are just one point and one place ahead of the Minstermen with four games left of the regular season.

The sides meet at the Kassam Stadium on Friday (3pm) with United hoping to have striker Deane Smalley available again after a calf injury ruled him out of the win at Plymouth on Saturday.

Smalley has been having intensive treatment and is rated 50/50 but United will definitely have Alfie Potter in contention for the Easter weekend after the winger made his return as a sub at Home Park.

With the York game followed by a trip to league leaders Scunthorpe on Easter Monday it is a massive weekend for The U’s.
