Full preview as United head for Hartlepool
TEAM NEWS
United will be without Andy Whing and Dave Kitson through suspension as they travel to Hartlepool. Whing misses three games while Kitson sits out just the one after collecting five yellows this season.
Jake Wright (groin), James Constable (foot), and Jon Meades (ankle) are all absent but Sean Rigg is fully fit and back in contention while Ty Marsh could return after an ankle problem
In Whing’s absence Asa Hall and Scott Davies contest the central midfield role alongside Danny Rose but youngster Josh Ruffels has impressed in Development Squad games and could also be in contention.
Ruffels is joined by Callum O’Dowda, Matt Bevans, Josh Shama, Dave Lynn and Kenzer Lee in the squad which could mean a youthful subs bench for the U’s.

THE OPPOSITION
Hartlepool boss Colin Cooper has seen his team collect four points from a possible six and is hoping to see his side build on that run tomorrow
“Good players in good teams will back up performances with results,” the former Middlesbrough stalwart said “Performances, I’ve been OK with from day one of the season, results may be not so. If you are going to progress then you have to follow up a result with a result. That’s the challenge for us.”
“This a chance to see what we are trying to do is developing game by game, week by week. We got our first home win a couple of weeks ago, and followed up with what should have been another win at Bristol which didn’t quite come off.
“This is a challenge against a top four team.
