Ladies Day

Come and join us on Ultimate Support Ladies Day

Oxford United Ladies face the biggest game in their history when they face Everton of the Women's Super League this Sunday in the fifth round of the Ladies FA Cup at the Kassam Stadium.

The tie takes place on Sunday March 17th with admission £5 adults and £3 for under 16s and over 65s. Kick off is at 4pm

Manager Richard Blackmore told us:

"It's a fantastic draw. Everton are in the top eight clubs in the country so this is a huge game for us. We did very well against Newcastle and to have over 700 people here to see it was fantastic. The girls deserved that win and can't wait to face a team of this calibre. We hope people will come along again to support the team in the next round."

We want as many fans as possible to support the team. Fans have certainly been getting behind the game, which is now officially Ultimate Support Ladies Day. Joe Nicholls, the man behind the Ultimate Support Series told us:

"Oxford United Ladies are bidding to join the Women's Super League next year. We are one of 33 applicants, and the game on Sunday is Oxfordshire's big chance to show there is an appetite in Oxford for woman's football, and that there is a lot of support for our  successful ladies team. Sunday really a great chance for us all to help show that Oxford United Ladies deserve a place in the Super League. We really can make a difference. There were 733 at the Newcastle game, and if we can get 1,000+ there on Sunday, it will send out a very strong message, and will really help OULFC in their bid."

Come along and enjoy a great game of football for all the family.
