Meet another United legend this Saturday
It has been our pleasure to welcome back some of the great names from the club’s past this season.
Colin Harrington and George Lawrence have already come in to meet fans on a matchdays while Milk Cup heroes Jeremy Charles and Les Phillips are now with us each week alongside their former teammate Peter Rhoades-Brown to welcome supporters.
This week we are delighted to welcome a true cult hero. Paul Moody was a Manor Ground legend, smashing home goals and leading the line in two spells with the U’s. His 74 goals for the club include some fearsome penalties and moments of sheer joy such as his goal at Wycombe and an amazing solo effort at Cardiff.
Paul will be meeting fans in the 12th Man bar from 1.30pm on Saturday as top-of-the-table United take on Rochdale. Come and meet him and ask questions as he reflects on his career.
Paul also features in the Matchday Magazine this week where we have been asking fans to mail in with questions for stars of the past. Be sure to pick up a copy on matchdays and remember that you can download all programmes right HERE.
Want to ask a past player a question? Forthcoming guests include:
