Legends v Allstars

Charity game arranged for SpecialEffect and Charlotte Nott Fund

This Sunday, 14th April (kick-off 1pm), there will be a very special game taking place at Court Place Farm, home to Oxford City. The game will feature the SpecialEffect All Stars against the Oxford United Legends, a star-studded team led by Peter Rhoades-Brown. The game is in aid of SpecialEffect, a brilliant Oxfordshire-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of disabled young people through computer games, and the Charlotte Nott Trust Fund.

The SpecialEffect All Stars will include Steve Basham, Jamie Cook, Jim Rosenthal, Timmy Mallett and Jerome Sale among others, while the Oxford United Legends team will feature Phil Whitehead, Alan Judge, Joey Beauchamp, Chris Allen, Les Phillips and Peter Rhoades-Brown, and will be managed by Ron Atkinson.

Tickets are just £5 each (or £2.50 for OAPs and children) and they can be purchased from the SpecialEffect website. If you can't make the game, there is also a link to the JustGiving page should you wish to pledge a donation. Details of the celebrities taking part will be announced in due course but make sure you don't miss out on what is sure to be a great occasion.
