Up for the Cup

Youth team in FA Youth Cup action against Yeovil tonight

United's youth side go in to the FA Youth Cup tonight as they take on Yeovil Town at Thame United's ASM Stadium (7.30pm)

After seven wins in a row confidence is sky high but United won't be expecting anything other than a tough game against the Glovers this evening. Coach Chris Allen told www.oufc.co.uk:

"It doesn't matter what has been happening in recent games, it's an FA Cup match and anything can happen. We had a close game in the league against Yeovil earlier in the season which we won 4-3 so we know they are a good side.

"Having said that, the lads have done well so far this season and have been buzzing about this game. It's a fantastic competition and we'd love people to come along and support us tonight."

United can call on striker James Roberts despite his sending off at the weekend. Roberts was shown two yellow cards in the win over Cheltenham Town and will miss one game but is eligible for tonight. The winners will go on to play Plymouth Argyle at home in the next round.

Admission is £5 adults £3 for concessions at Thame's splendid new stadium, where there is always a warm welcome.

Come along and get behind the youngsters.
