Buses to run tomorrow: get on board and back the U's

Oxford United are delighted to announce that the bus services which run to and from matches WILL be available tomorrow for the game against Gillingham.
RH coaches, who were running the buses this season, went into administration yesterday but the club have worked hard to find an alternative and are very pleased to announce that they have hired Tappins coaches to cover the routes tomorrow afternoon.
The club urge as many fans as possible to use the bus services and to come along and show their support.
Business Development Manager Owen Clark said:
"Although we were saddened to hear the news from RH coaches we know that the buses have been very popular with supporters and we have been working flat out to find a solution that would allow fans to get here for such a big game.
"Tappins have very kindly stepped in at very short notice and we thank them for their help and support."
Simon Weaver of Tappins told us:
"It's a pleasure to help fans get to the match. It's exciting to be involved with Oxford United and we hope to continue beyond Saturday and build a partnership with the club."
Tappins coaches, displaying the Oxford United club badge, will be picking up supporters from the usual bus stops at the advertised times.
We want as many fans as possible to back the buses and show their support tomorrow. Get on board and back the U's.
We are looking for volunteers to collect fares on the buses, as the drivers will not be able to do so. Supporters boarding the buses in Banbury, Chipping Norton, Carterton, Wantage, Henley, Thame or Grovelands who wish to help, in return for free travel to and from the match, can email cwilliams@oufc.co.uk or call 01865 337533.
