Defender joins from the Gunners
United this afternoon completed the signing of 19-year old defender Daniel Boateng from Arsenal.
The Ghanaian centre –half, who had a loan spell at Swindon Town last season, and who has made one senior appearance for the Gunners, joins the U’s on a youth loan arrangement until January.
He goes straight into the squad at Elland Road this evening as United take on Leeds United in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
