Oxford United are looking for back-to-back wins as they travel to take on Burton Albion on Saturday in Sky Bet League One.
The U's head into the fixture at the Pirelli Stadium following an emphatic 4-0 victory at home to Fleetwood Town on Monday.
Both teams have everything to play for on Saturday with United in the fight for the play-offs, while Burton are battling to remain in the division.
Oxford manager Des Buckingham is well aware of the challenge at hand this weekend as he has called on the United fans to continue to bring their passion to help the team to three points.
He said: "It’s important all year but probably more so now. We’ve seen it at pretty much every away game, the following we take and the support they give the group has been fantastic.
"I’m so pleased we were able to come back and put that performance on for them at home against Fleetwood.
"There were lots of friends and family in the stands from the players and staff, and for the fans as well. It’s going to be so important we are in this together.
"We’ve shown on Monday how much of an effect the crowd can have.
"I think it’s the best atmosphere since I’ve been here. The fans got behind the players from the first moment and there were times when we gave them something to cheer about and there were moments of a lull and they allowed us to bounce back into the game.
"When you stick together you drive each other and get where you want as a group."
