Our Guard of Honour on Sunday when we welcome Accrington Stanley are Combe Junior Sports Under 9’s.
Combe Junior Sports Football Club is an FA Charter Standard football club, established in 1997.
The club is affiliated to the Oxfordshire FA and plays junior football in the Witney & District and Oxford Youth leagues, whilst the senior teams play in the Witney & District Football League.
The club’s core values are Respect, Enjoyment and Inclusivity, the values ensure they provide a safe grassroots environment for their players to develop both as individuals and as young sports men and women.
Combe Under 9’s team formed three years ago and are managed by Richard Pearce and Tom Simmonds. The team have just taken part in their first cup final and the club are extremely proud of them; they’re a great bunch of lads who love playing football.
Most of them have been with the team since the beginning and they’re all looking forward to having a great day at Oxford United supporting the team.
